Bergen Indivisible for Democracy (BID) is a volunteer group of like-minded, concerned citizens of all backgrounds and experiences, who have joined together to make a difference in our communities and the world around us. 

MISSION:

Bergen Indivisible for Democracy (BID) is dedicated to preserving, protecting and advancing our democratic values and supporting candidates who are committed to them.

 

VISION:

Believing every voice matters, BID strives to provide an outlet for community members to be heard and to work together to advance our shared values while affecting positive change both locally and nationally.

We collaborate with other like-minded organizations to address our common concerns regarding voting rights, women’s rights, civil liberties, social justice, immigration, racism, extremism, anti-Semitism and all other forms of hate.

Some of our activities to advance our agenda include:

  • Election actions such as registering voters, advancing vote by mail, card/letter writing, making calls to voters

  • Visits with congressional leaders to advance our agenda

  • Programming on special topics which educate and engage our constituents
